MAERSK INC. NAMES PENTIMONTI VP OF GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
Maersk Inc. has appointed Gene Pentimonti as vice president, government relations, based in Washington. He succeeds Mark Johnson, who has been promoted to vice president, corporate relations.
Pentimonti held senior executive positions responsible for government relations activities at Pacer Stacktrain, the American Trucking Association and American President Lines.
Johnson will assume new responsibilities that include expanding the company's representation and leadership in state and local jurisdictions affecting U.S. operations.
Maersk Inc.'s North American headquarters is based in Madison, N.J.
