GEORGIA PORTS AUTHORITY NAMES NEW DIRECTORS, MANAGERS

   The Georgia Ports Authority on Tuesday announced the appointment of two new directors and three new managers:    Thomas H. Armstrong is the port’s new director of strategic development and information technology. Armstrong had been the Authority’s director of information technology.

   Roeshone Scott has been named as the port’s new claims manager. Previously, Scott had been a risk management technician for the port.

   William C. Sutton, III, is the port’s new general manager, management information systems. Sutton had been a project manager with the Authority.

   James R. Murray is the Authority’s new manager of technical services and compliance. He had been a systems engineer for the port.

   Robert Morris has been appointed as the port’s new director of external affairs. Previously, Morris had been director of communications for the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism.
