UNITED ALLIANCE, SINOTRANS ADD TOKYO TO TRANSPACIFIC LINK

United Alliance carriers Hanjin Shipping and Senator Lines and their joint service partner Sinotrans have added a westbound call at Tokyo to their weekly transpacific China America Express service.

The new westbound call at Tokyo replaces a previous westbound call at Busan. Busan is still called directly eastbound. The revised port rotation of the CAX service is now Long Beach, Oakland, Tokyo, Kwangyang, Xingang, Shanghai, Busan, Long Beach and Oakland.

The revised transit times of the service are posted on the global liner shipping database ComPairData at http://www.compairdata.com .

The CAX service employs five vessels — four supplied by Hanjin and one by Sinotrans — with an average capacity of 4,190 TEUs, according to ComPairData.
