KLM CARGO CUTS FUEL SURCHARGE, RAISES RATES
The Cargo Division of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, said Monday it is reducing its fuel surcharge on air freight shipments from euro 17 cents to euro 10 cents (U.S. 10 cents) per kilogram, effective March 1.
The Dutch carrier said it will also increases air freight rates by 5 to 10 percent in key markets, effective April 1.
