U-Freight establishes Sri Lankan subsidiary
Hong Kong-based forwarding group U-Freight has set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Sri Lanka.
U-Freight Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. will be headed by Sherman Fernando, who joins the new company from U-Freight’s old agency partner.
U-Freight said that the most dynamic growth sectors in the Sri Lankan economy are food processing, textiles and apparel, food and beverages, telecommunications, insurance and banking.
