CHINA SOUTHERN LAUNCHES N.Y.-CHICAGO GROUND LINK
China Southern Airlines, China’s largest air carrier, has launched a New York/Chicago overnight air freight truck service to link shippers in the eastern U.S. to its direct B747-400 freighter service between Chicago and Shenzhen, China.
Alliance Airlines, China Southern’s U.S. ground-handling partner, will operate the trucking service. Shipments must be dropped off at the Alliance office at JFK airport before 6 p.m. the night prior to departure for flights leaving Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from Chicago.
