Europe/Brazil carriers raise rates
The Europe East Coast South America Conference is the latest carrier group to announce increases in freight rates.
Citing increasing costs that “are not reflected in current conference rates,” the conference said that its members plan to increase southbound rates by 250 euros ($310) per TEU, effective April 1.
