The PCI, jointly operated by ocean carriers Sinokor, Heung-A and SITC Shipping, connects Korea and China with Southeast Asia.
Ocean carrier Evergreen Line will begin a slot charter agreement with Sinokor, Heung-A and SITC Shipping on their jointly operated PCI service between China, Korea and Southeast Asia, according to ocean carrier schedule and capacity database BlueWater Reporting.
The first sailing for Evergreen will depart from Busan July 14 on the vessel Northern Vigour.
The PCI operates with four vessels with an average capacity of 2,773 TEUs. Sinokor provides two of the vessels and Heung-A and SITC Shipping provide one vessel each. The service has a port rotation of Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Jakarta, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh (VICT/Cat Lai), Shanghai and Busan.
The PCI offers Evergreen Line’s only direct connections between Jakarta and Korea and Ho Chi Minh (VICT/Cat Lai) and Korea, according to data from BlueWater Reporting.
