Port of Tampa names Wainio as director and CEO
The Tampa Port Authority Board of Commissioners has selected Richard A. Wainio as director and chief executive officer.
Wainio had been executive director at the Port of Palm Beach, Fla. He retired in 1997 as director of executive planning for the Panama Canal Commission, where he worked for 23 years.
