GEOLOGISTICS INSTALLS FREIGHTGATEÆS TARIFF-TREK! PROGRAM
GeoLogistics has completed implementation of Freightgate’s Tariff-Trek! program to manage its full-containerload and less-than-containerload service contracts.
GeoLogistics said the program brings its ocean contracts online in a format that will allow it to instantly locate rates for its customers.
Freightgate, based in Huntington Beach, Calif., has developed Internet services for the freight industry since 1994. Its online product, PLTX Suite, includes I-Trek! for internet supply chain collaboration and visibility; GTM-Trek! for tender management; Tariff-Trek! for service contract and quote management; and I-Sail for interactive online sailing schedules.
Other clients using Freightgate’s Internet applications are Shipco Transport, Schenker and BAX Global.
