MOL joins INTTRA portal as non-shareholder member

Japanese carrier Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is joining the “Common Ocean Carrier Platform Agreement,” an agreement linked to the multicarrier container-shipping portal INTTRA.

The agreement notified the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission that MOL would join the group as a non-shareholder member.

Significantly, MOL is the third member shipping line of GTN, the competing container shipping portal, to also join the INTTRA portal. It follows NYK Line and CP Ships, which now also work with two portals.

The shipping line members of INTTRA are Maersk Sealand and its affiliate Safmarine, P&O Nedlloyd, Hamburg Sud and its affiliates Crowley American Transport, Columbus and Alianca, Mediterranean Shipping Co., CMA CGM and its affiliate ANL, Hapag-Lloyd, United Arab Shipping Co., Deutsche Afrika Linien, West-Afrika Linien, Tasman Orient Line, NYK Line, CP Ships and MOL.
