OMI secures two time charters with A.P. Moller tanker pool
OMI Corp. has secured time charters with an A.P. Moller-managed tanker pool for two of its newly built 37,000 deadweight ton ice class 1A product carriers.
The two product carriers will operate in the Handytankers KS pool for five years, starting in 2005. Both charters have a base rate and profit sharing on earnings above the base rate, OMI said.
OMI, based in Stamford, Conn., is an owner and operator of 40 crude oil tankers and product carriers.
