NYK Hong Kong sets late submission charge
NYK’s Hong Kong office has notified shippers it will levy charges when they submit shipping instructions late, or amend their instructions, for shipments from Hong Kong or Guangdong to Middle East or India Subcontinent destinations.
Effective June 15, NYK will invoice a “late submission charge” of HK$150 ($19) or RMB150 ($18) per bill of lading when the shipper submits the shipping instructions more than three calendar days after the vessel has sailed. It will charge the same fee when the shipper amends the shipping instructions after the first submission.
