The U.S. House of Representatives approved the $1.1 trillion bipartisan 2017 spending bill Wednesday by a 309-118 vote, and the U.S. Senate approved the bill Thursday by a 79-18 vote.

The $1.1 trillion bill authorizes the appropriations that fund the operation of the federal government through Sept. 30, 3017, for all agencies except those covered by division A of the Continuing Appropriations and Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act 2017, along with the Zika Response Preparedness Act (Public Law 114-223), the White House said.
“Division A provided full-year funding through Sept. 30, 2017, for projects and activities of the Federal Government included in the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017,” the White House said.
