OPEN HARBOR OFFERS SERVICE TO ASSIST U.S. EXPORTERS
Open Harbor Inc. announced that it is offering “Intelligent Restricted Party Screening Service,” free-of-charge to help companies adhere to more stringent export compliance regulations.
“With hundreds of thousands of exports a day from the U.S. alone, fast, accurate automated screening support is vital,” said Roger Majak, advisor to Open Harbor. “Given the increased requirements on export compliance, Open Harbor’s solution is critical for organizations to continue supporting existing export volumes.”
The new service is capable of evaluating any combination of name address and country, the company said in a statement. It is also capable of accepting single inputs such as address-only, and interpreting information such as misspellings and similar-sounding word variations.
The service can be accessed by registering on the company’s Web site, www.openharbor.com. Open Harbor (formerly myCustoms) is headquartered in San Carlos, Calif., and can be reached at (650) 413-4200.
