L.A./Indianapolis intermodal link topic of logistics summit
The Ports of Indiana said that CSX and Union Pacific have begun offering regular intermodal service between Los Angeles and Avon, Ind., a western suburb of Indianapolis.
The five-day-a-week service began on Sept. 29.
The new service will be one of the topics addressed at the Indiana Logistics Summit, Nov. 12 at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown.
