The asset-light transportation and logistics provider began offering expedited less-than-truckload freight service from Chicago to the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, Atlanta and Dallas.
Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc., an asset-light transportation and logistics provider, expanded its less-than-truckload (LTL) network to include expedited freight service from Chicago to the metropolitan areas of Los Angeles, Atlanta and Dallas, the company said.
The new service offering from Roadrunner Guarantee, the company’s time-sensitive solution for LTL freight shipments, commenced May 2.
“The expedited freight service offers transit times one to two days shorter than standard delivery with a 100 percent on-time complete delivery,” Roadrunner President of LTL Grant Crawford said.
Based out of Cudahy, Wis., Roadrunner provides a variety of global supply chain solutions including customized and expedited LTL, truckload logistics, intermodal solutions, freight consolidation, inventory management, expedited services, air freight, international freight forwarding, customs brokerage and transportation management solutions.
