ASKEY NOMINATED TO HEAD U.S. TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Bush Administration has nominated Thelma J. Askey to director of the Trade and Development Agency.
She previously served as a commissioner with the International Trade Commission under the Clinton Administration until her term expired in December. Prior to that, Askey served on the House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee.
