Zim, China Shipping revise scope of transpacific cooperation
Zim Israel Navigation Co. and China Shipping Container Lines have revised the scope of their cooperation in the transpacific trade.
The carriers notified the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission that they have removed one vessel string from the scope of the “Zim/CSCL Space Charter Agreement.” The service concerned was the weekly “America Asia Thailand” loop operated by China Shipping, which was terminated recently.
The carriers continue to exchange space between Zim’s ZCS service and China Shipping’s AAS loop 1.
