RailAmerica re-elects board members
Boca Raton, Fla.-based RailAmerica Inc., which operates 42 short-line and regional railroads in the U.S. and Canada, Thursday re-elected two new members to its board of directors.
Shareholders of RailAmerica elected William G. Pagonis, chairman of the board since 2004 and a board member since 2000. The other board member was Harold R. Curtis, former executive vice president and chief financial officer of the MARC Group, who has been a board member since 2004.
Both were elected for three-year terms.
RailAmerica has rail lines in 26 states and three Canadian provinces, offering shippers connections to the Class I rail network.
