New niche carrier on Europe/French Guyana/Surinam route
Ligne Guyane Francaise, a new shipping line managed by Rotterdam-based Vertraco Shipping, is starting a fortnightly container line between northern Europe, French Guyana and Surinam.
The niche carrier will deploy two vessels of about 500 TEUs, with a rotation of Flushing, Le Havre, Degrad des Cannes (French Guyana), Paramaribo (Surinam) and Flushing. The first sailing of the service will be made by “CEC Action” from Flushing Feb. 23.
