FEDEX TRADE NETWORKS FORMS ALLIANCE WITH FRANS MAAS
FedEx Trade Networks said its subsidiary, Tower Group International Inc., has entered into an alliance with Koninklijke Frans Maas Groep N.V., a European provider of international freight forwarding and logistics services.
The companies will operate door-to-door air and ocean forwarding transport services between Europe and North America.
Tower Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of FedEx Trade Networks Inc., specializes in customs brokerage, international freight forwarding and trade consulting services.
Frans Maas is an international logistics company which specializes in goods flow management in complex supply chain management projects. Frans Maas serves the entire European continent through a network of 178 group-owned locations in 26 countries with 7,500 employees.
