BXA COMMITTEE ON REGULATIONS AND PROCEDURES PLANS DEC. 4 MEETING
The Bureau of Export Administration's Regulations and Procedures Technical Advisory Committee will meet 9 a.m. Dec. 4 in Room 3884 of the Herbert C. Hoover Building, 14th St. NW, Washington, D.C.
The committee advises the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Export Administration on implementation of the Export Administration Regulations and provides review to update the EAR as needed.
Part of the meeting will be closed to the public, so that the committee may discuss classified matters dealing with the U.S. export control program and related strategic criteria.
Issues to be discussed at the public meeting include updates on pending regulations, implementation of multilateral agreements and the Wassenaar Arrangement. The committee will also discuss the status of Automated Export System regulations, intracompany transfer of technology license exemptions and the status of encryption regulations review.
