The non-asset based freight brokerage and transportation management service provider signed a 224,678-square-foot lease at 600 West Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Ill.

Echo Global Logistics, a non-asset based freight brokerage and transportation management service provider, signed a 224,678-square-foot lease at 600 West Chicago Avenue in Chicago, Ill.’s River North neighborhood, the company said.
The lease represents a 132,000-square-foot expansion for Echo at this location, which is now 100 percent leased.
A large portion of the expansion will accommodate about 500 workers that the company will move from nearby Skokie, Ill. Echo acquired Skokie-based truck-oriented freight broker Command Transportation last year for $420 million.
“We’ve experienced remarkable growth since our founding in 2005, both organically and by acquiring tremendous companies like Command Transportation that have contributed to making Echo a leading third-party logistics provider,” Echo CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors Douglas R. Waggoner said. “We’re excited to bring the Command team under one roof with us here in Chicago and ensure we continue to provide outstanding service and transportation solutions to our clients.”
Based out of Chicago, Ill., Echo Global Logistics provides freight brokerage and managed transportation solutions for all major modes, including truckload, partial truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal and expedited.
