CHEP Aerospace buys equipment repairer

CHEP Aerospace Solutions has acquired Frankfurt, Germany-based eps-Aircraft Services GmbH, a cargo and galley equipment repair services provider.
This follows CHEP’s recent acquisition from Nordisk Aviation Products in Copenhagen, and the opening of an owned repair facility in Doha, Qatar, extending the company’s repair network to more than 50 stations worldwide.
eps-Aircraft Services operates three workshops with a total space of 2,300 square meters and employs 27 staff. The company serves many carriers and service providers, including Air Canada, Cathay Pacific, Emirates, Envirotainer, Jettainer, Lufthansa, Swiss, Thai Airways and United Airlines.
Erika Bühring-Koss, eps-Aircraft Services’ managing director and co-founder, will continue to oversee the operation in Frankfurt, CHEP said.
