Cohen replaces Han as CFO at struggling Northwest
Northwest Airlines has named Neal Cohen as its new executive vice president and chief financial officer, replacing Bernard L. Han, who has resigned from the company.
Cohen was executive vice president of finance and CFO for US Airways from April 2002 to April 2004. Prior to US Airways, he held various positions at Northwest from 1991 to 2000.
Last month, Northwest Airlines Corp., parent company of Northwest Airlines, reported a first quarter net loss of $450 million.
In a related development, T. Jeffrey Putnam has been promoted to senior vice president of finance at Northwest Airlines. He was formerly Northwest’s vice president of financial planning and analysis.
