Intercontainer-Interfrigo appoints new senior management
Intercontainer-Interfrigo, the large European intermodal operator based in Basel, has appointed two joint managing directors, Patrice Pinoli and Franz Boeni, to succeed former chief executive officer Zeno Baggio.
Pinoli will continue to head the sales and operations activities of Intercontainer-Interfrigo. Boeni will also work as the newly appointed head of finance and administration.
Baggio left the company for family reasons Monday, after 11 months as CEO of Intercontainer-Interfrigo. Intercontainer-Interfrigo said Baggio had produced and implemented a comprehensive restructuring plan at a very difficult time in the company’s history.
“As a first result of this plan, Intercontainer-Interfrigo reports a positive monthly operating result in March,” the company said.
