MOL ESTABLISHES MIDDLE EAST/ASIA SERVICE, NEW INDIA AGENCY
MOL has commenced a new express container service between the Middle East and Asia, and has established new agency in India.
The CMI express service provides a fixed-day port rotation of Kaohsiung, Busan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Fujairah, Nhava Sheva, Singapore and Kaohsiung.
Shipments bound for or departing from India or the Middle East can be relayed to or from one of MOL's transpacific services calling at Singapore. Singapore serves as MOL's hub for customers who wish to ship between India, the Middle East and North America.
MOL has also created a subsidiary, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (India) Private Ltd., which began operations earlier this month. Mumbai-based MOL (India) Private Ltd.) manages a branch office in New Delhi and provides ocean-shipping agency services for ocean shipments to and from India, including sales, marketing documentation, customer service, vessel husbanding and container inventory management.
