CSXT PROMOTES PURSLEY, FALLON TO SENIOR VPs
CSX Transportation Inc., the rail subsidiary of CSX Corp. has promoted Franklin E. Pursley to senior vice president-service design, and James W. Fallon to senior vice president-transportation.
Pursley, formerly vice president-operations support, is responsible for operations research, service planning and intercarrier agreements, including trackage rights and haulage agreements with other railroads. He joined Louisville and Nashville Railroad, a CSXT predecessor railroad, as a management trainee in 1969.
Fallon joined CSXT in 1998 as assistant vice president-network operations after a 27-year career with Conrail. He most recently served as vice president-network operations for CSXT. In his new position, he will direct the activities of CSXT's five operating regions, network operations center, yards and terminals.
