DHX INC. OPENS SYDNEY, NEW YORK OFFICES

DHX Inc., the neutral non-vessel-operating common carrier serving the Pacific Rim, has opened offices in Sydney, Australia, and New York.

The Sydney office expands the company's presence in the South Pacific, and allows DHX to streamline its operations and functions, the company said.

The office is managed by Amit Ahuja under the direction of Peter Gorgievsky, who also oversees the DHX international headquarters in Melbourne (DHX Australia Pty. Ltd.).

DHX said the company closely models U.S. operations where its offices are attached to warehouses, allowing control over cargo movements. DHX's services include electronic booking confirmations, online cargo tracking, arrival notifications seven days prior to vessel arrival and the ability to unpack cargo within 24 hours of full-containerload availability.

The New York office serves as a sales and customer service center, managed by John Marcin.

DHX is based in Rancho Dominguez, Calif.
