HYUNDAI MERCHANT MARINE’S CEO RESIGNS
Kim Choong-Shik, the president and chief executive officer of Korea’s Hyundai Merchant Marine, has resigned.
The Korean shipping group said that it has placed Kim Suk-Joong, senior executive vice president, in charge of business matters for the company as a temporary measure, following Kim C.’s resignation.
The shipping group also assigned responsibility for financial affairs to Choi Yong-Muk, a vice president of Hyundai Elevator. Hyundai Elevator is the largest shareholder in Hyundai Merchant Marine.
