Long Beach port names Snyder as trade director
The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners, in Long Beach, Calif., has appointed Donald B. Snyder as the Port of Long Beach's director of trade and maritime services.
Snyder was marketing manager for the port. For the past six months, he has served in rotation as the acting director of trade and maritime services, following the retirement of Wilma Powell.
Snyder came to the port in 2003 after six years as manager of import and export logistics for Mattel, Inc.
