MAERSK SEALAND TO START NEW YORK/DOMINICAN REPUBLIC DIRECT LINK
Maersk Sealand will start a direct U.S. East Coast/Dominican Republic/Puerto Rico on May 1.
Called “Dominican Republic Express,” the service will use two vessels with an average capacity of 800 TEUs and will operate with a weekly fixed-day sailing frequency.
The service rotation for the “DRX” service will be New York, Freeport (Bahamas), Rio Haina, San Juan, Rio Haina and New York.
