USTDA awards $540,015 grant for Kazakhstan air-traffic study
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency has awarded a $540,015 grant to Kazakhstan’s air-traffic control agency to fund a study on a communications, navigation and surveillance/air traffic management system for the Central Asia region.
USTDA advances economic development and U.S. commercial interests in developing and middle-income countries. “Over $150 million in U.S. exports in equipment and services may result if the system [in Kazakhstan] is implemented,” the agency said.
