FMC reviews 13 OTI license applications

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary license applications and changes for review.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) has received 13 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from AIF LAX, Carson, Calif. (Byung H. Chung, secretary); BSL Logistics, Compton, Calif. (Woo “David” B. Lim, chief executive officer); New York 1 Terminal, Bayonne, N.J. (Joel Bonhommette, president); Reindeer Shipping, Alhambra, Calif. (Yu Zhang, chief executive officer); and Seattle Logistics, Sammamish, Wash. (Yuriy Vorotnikov, president).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from APAC DFW, Houston (Jong H. Park, assistant manager); Triton Alive, Houston (William R. Onorato, member); and Utra Entregas USA, Miami (Karime Zawady, manager).
   The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Ace Relocations Systems, San Diego (Lawrence Lammers, president); Cargo Link USA, Rosemead, Calif. (Zhu Li, member); and Grace International Relocations, Oceanside, Calif. (Michael D. Gilbert, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Diarama Export, Miami (Jorge I. Beneditt, vice president); and Rulewave, Houston (Robert Whiteley, executive vice president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) – both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs – are also available on the FMC website.
