Landstar honors CSX Intermodal
Landstar Global Logistics has honored CSX Intermodal with its 2006 Carrier of the Year award.
Landstar Global is a unit of Landstar System Inc., while CSXI part of CSX Corp. Both companies have headquarters offices in Jacksonville.
The award is based on criteria that include on-time transit, equipment availability and condition, technology support, sales representation, and customer service responsiveness.
“For the second year in a row, Landstar has recognized CSXI with a top honor,' said Jim Hertwig, CSXI president. “This award reflects our goal of delivering consistent, safe and reliable service while constantly striving for improvement, along with a high level of sales and customer service support.'
