ECU-LINE OPENS CASABLANCA OFFICE
Ecu-Line has strengthened its network in Northern Africa, opening its own offices in Casablanca, Morocco, under the name Compagnie Maroccaine Ecu-Line.
The new office will initially focus on the development of groupage services out of Antwerp, Hamburg, Milano, Barcelona and the Portuguese ports of Lisbon and Oporto. The office will later work in launching direct groupage services out of the existing Ecu-Line hubs in Hong Kong and Singapore in the Far East and Dubai in the Middle East.
Khadija Douma is the local manager. She will be assisted by Simon Bajada, regional coordinator for the Ecu-Line group, who is coordinating Ecu Group developments in the Mediterranean and North Africa from the Malta office.
