U.S. :TREASURY ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET IN WASHINGTON JAN. 28
A group of leading U.S. government and industry officials will meet in
Washington Jan. 28 to discuss pressing Customs issues.
The Treasury Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of the U.S Customs
Service will review studies about the Merchandise Processing Fee, resources for Customs’
Office of Rulings and Regulations, Compliance Assessment Team methodology, Customs’
proposed entry revision project, and
the status on the agency’s "Tin Man" in-bond program.
