DESCARTES OFFERS ROUTING SERVICE
The Descartes Systems Group, Inc., based in Waterloo, Ontario, announced on Wednesday the launch of Roadshow Express, a routing and scheduling option that allows small truck fleet owners and fixed-route distributors to optimize their delivery routes using a lost-cost service instead of a more expensive logistics software solution.
Designed for fixed routes of 50 vehicles or less, Roadshow Express enables companies to automate and integrate their delivery services on an annual basis.
Descartes personnel work with each Roadshow Express customer to configure routes and territory plans. Early clients of the service include Coca-Cola Southeast New England, a beverage distribution company, and Home Hardware Stores Limited, a Canadian retailer.
