SHIPCO APPOINTS DONZA TO PROMOTE FCL SERVICE
Shipco Transport has appointed Michael Donza as sales agent for its expanding full-containerload service.
The Hoboken, N.J.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier will rely on Donza to build its FCL business, especially among its small-to-midsized freight forwarder client base. “FCL is a very important ingredient in our product mix,” said Klaus Jepsen, president of Shipco.
Shipco offers global export and import FCL services. An in-house rate program allows forwarders to receive immediate turn-around quotation requests — “all tailored to the customer’s specific requirements whether that be rate-dependent, transit time-dependent or carrier-specific,” the NVO said.
In addition to its FCL services, Shipco offers international less-than-containerload export and import services, as well as global airfreight consolidation services.
