ASG WILL BE INTEGRATED INTO DANZAS
The Deutsche Post/Danzas group has acquired all remaining
shares in ASG, the Swedish forwarding and logistics company, paving the way for the
integration of the new subsidiary into the fast-expanding German group.
In a related development, J'rgen Ekberg, president of ASG, has resigned and
the company said that its head office functions will be reduced.
ASG said that "a complete integration" of ASG and Danzas can now be
implemented. The Swedish company’s activities consist of road transport, air and sea
forwarding and logistics.
The company will still work under the brand brand ASG in the Nordic region,
it said.
