Kuehne & Nagel begins joint venture for high-tech logistics
Kuehne & Nagel, a Swiss provider of freight forwarding and logistics services, and FM Logistic, a provider of integrated software, have set up a joint venture company to market integrated supply chain strategies for the high-tech industry.
Their new company, called COLOGIC, will manage purchasing and inventory of raw materials and components, product completion, and production planning for clients.
COLOGIC’s first customer, Hewlett Packard, has chosen the new entity to be HP’s lead logistics provider in Europe, Kuehne & Nagel said in a statement.
