The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 14 license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Encore International Corp., Miami (Fatima G. Lopez, president); Eztrans Logistics Ltd., Mississauga, Canada (Xin Wang, president); Fletmar International Corp., Miami (Maria M. Conde, president); and United Transport Services Corp., Miami (Oscar Nova, secretary).
The agency received NVO-ocean freight forwarder license applications from G Max Distributors, Miami (Hugo D. Carmona, secretary); Oceanstar Express Co., Wilmington, Calif. (Paul D. Conolly, secretary); Sintra USA, Springfield, N.J. (Alex Tralha, secretary); STC Worldwide, Jersey City, N.J. (William F. Woods Jr., vice president); and VR Logistics, Edison, N.J. (Govind Bhagat, vice president).
The FMC also received ocean freight forwarder license applications Astral Freight Services, Doral, Fla. (Eliane Lessa, secretary); and Kimberly Ann Martin, Crystal Lake, Ill. (Kimberly A. Martin, sole proprietor).
In addition, the agency received applications for a change to qualifying individual from Pegasus Maritime, New York (Mohtashum Mahmood, vice president for sales and marketing); and for trade name changes from LF Freight USA, Jamaica, N.Y. (James Minutello, vice president); and Lion Transport, Miami (Silvia E. Bustamante, president).
