Tan named chairman of Famous Pacific Shipping
Famous Pacific Shipping Group has appointed Alvin Tan chairman.
Tan is from the non-vessel-operating common carrier and freight forwarding operation’s Singapore office.
Famous also enlarged its executive committee to guide its future expansion. Committee members are elected from the company’s offices throughout Asia.
“With neutrality as their watchword, the members of the executive committee are responsible for steering the overall development of the FPS Group without favoring any one country or office,” said outgoing chairman Benny Ling in a statement.
