OPTIMUM LOGISTICS IMPLEMENTS TRANSLINK WITH P&G CHEMICALS

Optimum Logistics, the electronic supply chain software subsidiary of Stolt-Nielsen, said Monday it has implemented its TransLink electronic trade documentation module for Procter & Gamble Chemicals.

Under the agreement, all of P&G Chemicals' bulk marine trade documentation will be electronically enabled worldwide using TransLink.

Offered as a hosted model or ASP, TransLink primarily focuses on international marine transportation and related logistics management. The documentation module enables collaboration through one application for documentation fulfillment and data sharing between shippers, receivers, carriers, freight forwarders, surveyors and terminals.

Founded in January 2000, Stamford, Conn.-based Optimum Logistics also offers TransBid, a global freight procurement product, and TransBridge, an integration and connectivity services product.
