Navios Maritime Partners snags $35m

The vessel owner and operator will use the proceeds from the offering for general working capital purposes, including vessel acquisitions.

   Navios Maritime Partners L.P., an international owner and operator of container and dry bulk vessels, has closed the previously announced offering of approximately 18.4 million common units at $1.90 per common unit, raising approximately $35.0 million of gross proceeds.
   Navios Partners said it will use the net proceeds of the offering for general working capital purposes, including vessel acquisitions.
   The company has a fleet of 39 ships, seven of which are containerships that range in size from 6,800 TEUs to 8,204 TEUs, while its 32 dry bulk ships range in size from 57,337 dwt to 181,389 dwt.
