EWS RAIL SERVICE STARTS AT PORT OF FELIXSTOWE

   English, Welsh & Scottish Railway has started a freight service to and from the port of Felixstowe in the south of England.

   The service commenced from Felixstowe on Nov. 4. English, Welsh & Scottish Railway will initially operate five trains a week from the port to Widnes, near Liverpool, for a number of customers. It will carrying 9-foot 6-inch high cube containers. An additional daily service will be launched from the port in January.
