INTERMARINE ADDS WEEKLY SERVICE TO NEW ORLEANS, PENSACOLA
Intermarine has added calls at New Orleans and Pensacola, Fla., to its
U.S./North Coast of South America service and upgraded the operation to a fixed-day weekly
frequency.
The service uses container/breakbulk vessels. The revised rotation is
New Orleans, Pensacola, Houston, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cristobal and New
Orleans.
Intermarine had offered New Orleans and Pensacola on inducement on the
Colombia string service, which had a frequency of three sailings per month.
Based in New Orleans, Intermarine provides inland heavy haul services for
breakbulk, specialized project and heavy lift cargoes as well as worldwide ocean
transportation.
