FCS, CENSUS OFFER SPANISH LANGUAGE SUPPORT FOR AESPCLINK
Flagship Customs Services and the U.S. Census Bureau have released Version 3.0 of AESPcLink, which includes Spanish language support.
AESPcLink allows exporters and freight forwarders to process their shipper’s export declarations offline before transmitting them to the government’s Automated Export System.
Upon installation, users will be offered the choice between English and Spanish language support. AESPcLink is available to registered AESDirect users and data entry centers, via either compact disc or by downloading if from the AES Web page: www.aesdirect.gov.
Additional new features have also been introduced in Version 3.0, “all designed to ease the entry of information and to keep AESPcLink in full compliance with AES,” FCS said.
“Since it’s introduction last year AESPcLink has become very popular with users of AESDirect, and is now in daily use by many hundreds of companies,” said Robert Foley, president of FCS. “This exciting new bilingual capability will undoubtedly increase its popularity, especially along the southern border.”
In 1999, Census contracted FCS to develop the ability to connect to AES through a free Internet link, AESDirect.
