FMC reviews 26 OTI license applications

Applicants hail from 10 states and Puerto Rico.

   The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 26 ocean transportation intermediary (OTI) license applications and changes for review.
   The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Car Club USA, Cooper City, Fla. (Leslie Lunn, president); Global Gateway Logistics, St. Louis (Caitlin S. Murphy, member); Panda Enterprises, Chino Hills, Calif. (Yiming Ou, secretary); Atlantic Global Forwarding, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Tin W. Chan, treasurer); and Trans Gate International, Jamaica, N.Y. (Kevin Cho, member).
   The agency received NVO/ocean freight-forwarder license applications from Excommerce America, Doral, Fla. (Alejandra I. Cavalieri George, manager); Wendpourie Compaore/Alou Doumbia, Houston (Alou Doumdia, partner); Alpha GTS Multi-Services, Houston (Stephen Gonzales, member); G&TCO, Las Vegas (Tim Kilraine, vice president of sales); MA Logistics & Shipping, Brooklyn, N.Y. (Vances A.Karim, chief operating officer); Panacea Global Supply Chain and Logistics Service, Napoleon, Ohio (Christine Tsang, member); Sese Global Forwarding, Ooltewah, Tenn., Rolando Ayala, vice president); and STG Freight Services, Bay Harbor Islands, Fla. (Arthur Moroz, vice president).
   The FMC also received ocean freight-forwarder license applications from Darpex Freight Corp., Medley, Fla. (Dario A. Pereyra, president); Ipg Network Corp., Miami (Adeniyi Oyegunle, president); and Seven C’s Shipping, Jacksonville, Fla. (Warren Cook, president).
   In addition, the agency received license applications for changes to qualifying individuals from Jan International Forwarding, Dover, N.J. (Paula Hocking, vice president); Oceanic General Agency, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico (Maria I. Caraballo Guad, president); Tony Quintana Freight Forwarders, Homestead, Fla. (Christina V. Saldivar, president) Direct Parcel Service Corp., Doral, Fla. (Cesar A. Ocampo, vice president); Manila Box Corp., Hayward, Calif. (Eugene S. Antonio, president); and Port of America Container Loading Corp., Irvington, N.J. (Edmond Phillips, treasurer); for adding trade names Consolidadora Centroamericana from PLJ Cargo Logistics, Doral, Fla. (Vanesa Bermudez, secretary) and Beacon Global Logistics from J.W. Allen & Co., Kenner, La. (William S. App Jr., CEO); for the removal of trade names GCA and Global Consolidators Alliance from CaroTrans International, Clark, N.J. (John Hepworth, CEO); and for a name change to Marine Cargo Line LLC from Marine Cargo Line, Pearl River, N.Y. (Hector Rodriguez, president).
   Persons knowing of any reason why an applicant should not receive an OTI license or amendment are urged to contact the FMC’s Office of Transportation Intermediaries in Washington, D.C. Lists of licensed OTIs (applications approved, bonds in place and fully licensed) — both ocean freight forwarders and NVOs — also are available on the FMC website.
